Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba Announces Upcoming Mid-April Program

Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba has unveiled a varied lineup of events for the coming days in April, with offerings designed for the entire family.

The initiative Bailar no tiene edad—a space dedicated to grandparents and those who care for older adults at home—will take place every Tuesday starting at 10:00 a.m. (local time). Admission is free.

Havana Dance Intensive brings together a range of dance styles led by top-tier instructors. The program will run from Monday, April 13, through Saturday, April 18, at Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba’s headquarters in Plaza de Belén, in Havana’s Historic Center, as well as at Malecón ART 255, a striking seaside venue.

Audiences can also enjoy the Spring Galas on April 18 and 19 at Havana’s Teatro de Variedades América, featuring performances by students from the Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba School and its vocational workshops.

To close out the month, on Saturday, April 25, the company will present Habana y Olé, bringing the spirit of Seville’s iconic fair to Havana. The event will take place at Malecón ART 255 from 5:00 p.m. to midnight (local time).

The renowned company encourages audiences to follow its social media channels for updates and further details on these events.
